Free Browser Roguelite Voidbloom Launches with a Soundtrack Generated Entirely at Runtime

SINGAPORE - July 12, 2026 - PRLog -- Independent developer John Wee has launched Voidbloom, a free neon arcade survival roguelite that players can play immediately in a modern web browser without downloading or installing.

Voidbloom places players in control of a vessel surrounded by increasingly dangerous waves of hostile "blooms." Weapons fire automatically, leaving the player to dodge enemies, collect experience shards and choose upgrades that transform each run.

The game's entire soundtrack and collection of sound effects are synthesized at runtime using the Web Audio API. Voidbloom contains no prerecorded audio files. Music layers intensify as each run progresses, while each of the game's five rotating sectors has its own audiovisual identity.

Bosses appear every three minutes, culminating in the Voidmother encounter at 12 minutes. Defeating the Voidmother opens an endlessly scaling survival mode rather than ending the run.

Voidbloom also features permanent progression, different ships, daily objectives, cloud saving, global and daily leaderboards, friends and shareable result cards. Every completed banked run receives a unique RUN CODE that other players can use to verify its score, duration, level, kills and revival status.

Players can begin without registering. An optional account enables cloud saves, social features and leaderboard participation.
