Ben Gurion Airport serves as Israel's primary international gateway and handles the vast majority of incoming and outgoing passenger traffic. The expansion reflects Israel's continued investment in infrastructure to support future international travel and enhance the arrival experience for visitors. "Modern transportation infrastructure is essential to the visitor experience and Israel's long-term tourism growth," said Lorin Maugery, Consul-Director for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Southern Region. "These investments help ensure Israel remains well positioned to welcome increasing numbers of visitors in the years ahead."
