Let Freedom Sing: America 250 Vocal Extravaganza

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. - June 30, 2026 - PRLog -- "Let Freedom Sing" is a family-friendly outdoor concert of American music in celebration of  Independence Day with an historical narrative in Spanish and English about freedom and liberty for all. Presented by MORE Opera, featuring soloists and the LaGuardia Performing Arts Community Chorus.

Join MORE Opera in partnership with LaGuardia Performing Arts Center and the LPAC Community Chorus on July 2, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. for "Let Freedom Sing: America 250 Vocal Extravaganza" a family-friendly outdoor concert of American music in celebration of the U.S. semi-quincentennial.  The Independence Day themed program features a bilingual historical narrative in Spanish and English about freedom and liberty for all, past and present. The concert features soloists Emmanuel Cruz, Heather Peterson, and Laura Forero-Torres, and an intergenerational community chorus conducted by MORE Opera artistic director Cheryl Warfield.
