PRLog -- GBAMFS Releases Two New Public Policy Whitepapers Proposing a New Framework for Intellectual Property Stewardship
Gaming Brethren Advocates Mutual-aid Federation & Society (GBAMFS) today announced publication of two complementary policy papers:
Intellectual Blight: Dormant Ownership, Cultural Withholding, and the Public Function of Intellectual Property and
The Cultural Eminence Doctrine: Cultural Stewardship, Public Trust, and the Governance of Franchise-Scale Intellectual Property.
Together, the papers propose a new legal and policy framework for evaluating stewardship of culturally significant multimedia franchises through public-interest review, preservation, and accountability. Both documents are released as public discussion drafts and Requests for Comment (RFCs), inviting review from legal scholars, policymakers, rights holders, preservationists, industry professionals, and the public.
