PRLog -- Poetry seems to be the thought of a troubled soul — an unheard melody of the times, a hidden desire, or a desperate echo of feeling. Yet it is more than any of these definitions alone. It derives from the spirit as a crystal fountain: it calms itself in clear waters, then rises in the form of a wave and breaks against a hard rock. The poetry of Irsa Ruçi follows this very path, emerging in a deliberately simple shape that allows any reader to find themselves within its verses. Ideas take form verse by verse, word by word —free ideas offered to life and to the reality that surrounds us. Words accumulate until, almost imperceptibly, one loses breath at the moment the fragments coalesce into a whole. Words pursue each other in silence; yet at some point the silence is broken by a scream, and the cycle begins again. Human beings are the centre of her poetry. She writes for and about humanity.
