Co-written with Novotny's star, Kevin Winstead, the film explodes in a fury of terrifying frights, emotional insights, and black comedy takes that bring to light serious issues like alcoholism, anger, and desperately lashing out while feeling mentally unstable. It all comes to life on screen when an alcoholic finds a horrific way to battle his demons, adopting a homicidal, hellish alter-ego that becomes the solution to his issues… and a terror to all around him.
