Author Bruce Goldwell Launches Facebook Networking Group to Help Authors Gain More ReviewNew initiative encourages authors to exchange books, support one another, and build momentum through collaborative networking.
By: Bruce Goldwell Author Author and publisher Bruce Goldwell has launched a new Facebook community designed to help solve that problem through author-to-author networking and support. The Authors Helping Authors networking initiative invites independent authors to join the Facebook group, upload a PDF copy of their book, connect with fellow writers, and participate in mutual visibility and review support efforts. Members are encouraged to:
According to Goldwell, this concept is based on a successful author networking community he founded on Facebook in 2011. "Back in 2011 and 2012, our author community achieved incredible results during book promotions, holiday campaigns, and collaborative networking events," said Goldwell. "Authors discovered that working together expanded reach far beyond what most could accomplish alone." Goldwell says the goal is not only reviews but also creating lasting relationships among independent authors who understand the challenge of building visibility in a crowded marketplace. The community is designed to encourage collaboration, discovery, promotional opportunities, and reciprocal support among writers across multiple genres. With hundreds of books published and years of experience building online communities, Goldwell hopes to recreate — and expand upon — the momentum and engagement achieved during those earlier years. Independent authors interested in participating are invited to join and introduce themselves.
