ICTExam 1.1.0 Adds AI-Assisted Grading and One-Click Moodle Exams

MULTAN, Pakistan - June 20, 2026 - PRLog -- ICT Innovations has released ICTExam 1.1.0, a major update to its online exam and assessment platform. The release lets teachers turn a question paper they already have into a live online exam in minutes, grades objective answers automatically, and reviews written answers with AI that a teacher can always override. Schools running Moodle can launch ICTExam exams from inside their own courses, with grades flowing straight back to the gradebook.

The goal of this update is simple. Give teachers back the hours they lose to exam setup and marking, without taking the final say out of their hands.

Teachers can start from a paper they already have or build one from a blank page. Upload a PDF, a scan, or a photo of a question paper, and ICTExam reads it, pulls out each question, and lays it out for review. Sharing is just as quick. ICTExam creates a single student link, and students attempt the exam through it without creating an account.

ICTExam 1.1.0 supports the question styles teachers actually set, including multiple choice, true or false, multiple select with all-or-nothing scoring, short and long answer, fill in the blank with several accepted spellings, and matching and ordering with drag and drop.

Grading is fast where it can be and careful where it counts. Objective questions are graded automatically by rule, never by AI. Math answers are accepted when they are equivalent, so a student who writes one half, 0.5, or the square root of sixteen as four still gets credit. Written work, image answers, and diagrams are reviewed with AI assistance, and the teacher can override any result. When the AI is not confident, the answer goes to the teacher instead of being marked wrong.

The release also ships exam timers, availability windows, attempt limits, question shuffle, a gradebook with CSV and JSON export, item analysis, grade scales, and a reusable question bank. For schools on Moodle, ICTExam adds a native plugin with backup and restore, standards-conformant LTI 1.3 launch, automatic grade passback, and roster sync.
