![]() Artem Oliva Scales Bulk Olive Oil Exports as Türkiye Cements Its Place as the World's No. 2 Producerİzmir-based family producer leverages 60+ years of Aegean experience, IOC-grade quality, and flexible bulk logistics to meet rising global demand following the lifting of Türkiye's bulk export restrictions.
By: Artem Oliva The move comes at a turning point for Turkish supply. According to International Olive Council data, Türkiye has consolidated its standing as the world's number-two producer of olive oil and table olives across recent seasons, overtaking Italy on the strength of a record 2024/25 harvest. After a two-year suspension introduced to stabilize domestic prices, Türkiye lifted its ban on bulk and barreled olive oil exports in late 2024, clearing the way for producers to compete directly in markets across Europe, the Gulf, North America, and Asia — many of which already source Turkish oil indirectly through European blenders. Artem Oliva is built to serve that demand at scale. The company supplies every grade of olive oil — extra virgin, virgin, early harvest, pure, organic, and olive pomace — in flexitank, IBC tank, and steel-drum formats, supported by 1,250 metric tons of olive oil storage and 1,000 metric tons of table-olive processing and storage capacity. Production runs to international chemical and sensory standards, with ISO and HACCP certification and residue levels compliant with EU, GCC, and North American requirements. "Türkiye's rise to second place is not a one-season story — it reflects decades of planting, investment, and know-how in the Aegean, which is exactly the foundation our family has built on since the 1960s," said Managing Partner in Artem Oliva. "With bulk exports open again, our role as a bulk olive oil exporter is to give international buyers what they value most: certified, traceable quality, transparent lab figures on every lot, and the flexibility to ship in the format and Incoterms that suit their operation." Artem Oliva offers delivery under Incoterms 2021 — including FOB, CIF, CFR, and door-to-door service — along with bottled and private-label programs for partners building their own brands. The company currently exports to customers across six continents. Importers and food manufacturers interested in bulk availability, samples, or lot specifications can contact Artem Oliva's export team directly. End
