PERTH, Australia - June 17, 2026 - PRLog -- Soar Atlas has launched 3D Mode Beta, a powerful update that instantly turns any 2D map or satellite image into an immersive, browser-based 3D visualization window.

3D Mode instantly transforms over one million georeferenced maps and satellite images into explorable 3D landscapes, offering users entirely new perspectives directly in their browser.

"3D Mode is an important milestone for our platform," says Soar CEO Amir Farhand. "For too long, the most powerful geospatial tools have been confined to specialists and technical users. By bringing together immersive 3D experiences and accessible mapping technology, we're helping more people explore, understand, and interact with the world around them. Our vision is simple: to make geospatial knowledge easier to access and more useful for everyone."

3D Satellite Imagery with Timelapses and Annotation Tools

3D Mode elevates Earth observation by rendering a decade of Sentinel and Landsat archives in real-world terrain, making satellite analysis an immersive, multidimensional experience. Historical timelapses can also be draped across 3D terrain in just a few clicks.

A full suite of annotation and storytelling tools has been designed for creators including; 3D objects, markers, text, military symbology and elevation measurements. The canvas tool also allows users to draw directly onto landscapes. Markers, measurements, drawings, and annotations help users tell stories and communicate insights in 3D.

Record Cinematic Flythroughs of Your Discoveries

Built-in cinematic Tour Controls allow seamless flythroughs between custom waypoints across the map, which can be used to produce guided map videos directly within the browser. Users can also capture screenshots and save their 3D projects for external sharing. 3D Mode enables users to create cinematic flythroughs and record high-quality map tours directly in the browser.
