GoTo Telemed Launches National Mental Health Awareness Program

KALISPELL, Mont. - June 15, 2026 - PRLog -- GoTo Telemed, a nationwide integrated telehealth platform serving over 10 million patients, today launched its Mental Health Awareness Program to confront America's growing mental health crisis. Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. adults (60 million people) live with a mental health condition, yet more than half receive no treatment. Among young adults aged 18–25, 33% reported a mental health condition in the past year.

The program has three core pillars:

1. 988 Crisis Lifeline Education – A national campaign – "No Shame. No Silence. Call 988" – addresses that 71% of Americans are unaware of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. GoTo Telemed distributes digital toolkits, posters, and ID card templates to workplaces, schools, and community organizations.

2. Stigma‑Reduction Training – All GoTo Telemed providers complete an accredited CME module on destigmatizing language, culturally competent mental health conversations, and motivational interviewing to encourage treatment engagement.

3. Low‑Barrier Virtual Therapy – Patients can schedule same‑day, confidential video therapy with licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADHD, and perinatal mental health. Self‑guided digital therapeutics are also available.

The program aligns with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) , and GoTo Telemed's billing tools help patients access parity protections.
