AI and Law Take Centre Stage as 300+ Legal Leaders Convene in Bengalore for the LexTalk World APAC26

GURGAON, India - June 13, 2026 - PRLog -- BENGALURU, India - More than 300 senior legal leaders, policymakers, jurists and technology innovators gathered at the Radisson Blu Atria, Bengaluru on 11 June 2026 for the 13th LexTalk World Conference and Exhibition APAC. Conceptualised and executed by MantraNex Vista Pvt Ltd, the forum carried the theme "AI and Law: The Asian Frontier," placing India's innovation capital at the centre of a defining conversation about the future of legal practice across Asia.

Abhishek Gourav, Co-Founder LexTalk World, opened with a welcome address and a traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of the Society of Indian Law Firms, delivered the opening keynote on technology in law. A major highlight was the launch of Series 1 of the India Legal Tech and AI Report 2026, a grounded study of how technology is reshaping Indian jurisprudence, from courtroom practice to AI-assisted contracting and compliance.

Sessions moved well beyond theory, spanning AI in legal practice, data protection and AI governance under the DPDP Act 2023, intellectual property in the age of AI, India's role in the global LegalTech ecosystem, and digital forensics and cybersecurity investigations. Speakers included Smitha Chandrashekar (Harman International), Antony Alex (Rainmaker), Sivani Peesapati (GE Healthcare), Krishna Chellapilla (Tata Consultancy Services), Sanjay Jain (Lex Corp), Amit Anand (Adobe), Shalini Chawla (ITC Limited), Kapil Singhal (CaseDocker), Jagannath PV (LTIMindtree), Sushma Shankar (Accenture), Rakesh Kumarswamy Udupi (Infosys) and Punya Patra (Novartis). The event also felicitated Shri G. Sridhar, Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, Department of Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation, as Chief Guest.

The afternoon culminated in the Legal Honor Global Awards, APAC 2026.
