Combating Anti-Semitism Through Tradition, Responsibility, and Gin

TANNENBLUT GIN, Germany - June 8, 2026 - PRLog -- TANNENBLUT has launched a unique initiative that combines tradition, craftsmanship, and social responsibility to support Jewish life in Spain at a time of rising anti-Semitism across Europe.

At the center of the initiative is TANNENBLUT GIN, a kosher Black Forest gin and the first release in the Bereshit Series ("Genesis"), a limited collector's collection of 3,000 individually numbered bottles. More than a premium spirit, the project was created as a visible stand against anti-Semitism and a practical contribution to supporting Jewish communities.

Inspired by the legacy of Jakob Ferdinand Nagel, whose spirits company was among the most successful distilleries of its time, TANNENBLUT connects a historic family tradition with a contemporary mission. Each bottle continues a story that began in 1873 while helping support Jewish communities today.

The initiative comes as anti-Semitic incidents continue to rise across Europe. In Spain alone, reported anti-Semitic incidents increased by 321 percent in 2024, highlighting the need for greater awareness and concrete support.

To address this challenge, TANNENBLUT has committed 60 percent of proceeds from the Bereshit Series to initiatives that strengthen and protect Jewish life in Spain. Funds will support legal aid, psychological assistance, educational programs, and community projects.

For Dr. Raphael Nagel (LL.M.), founder of TANNENBLUT and the Abrahamic Business Circle, the project represents a practical response to growing anti-Semitism in Europe.

Each bottle in the Bereshit Series is handcrafted, individually numbered, and produced according to kosher standards. The first edition is strictly limited to 3,000 bottles.

Unlike traditional fundraising campaigns, TANNENBLUT focuses on long-term engagement. Each bottle serves as a conversation starter about Jewish heritage, identity, and the importance of preserving Jewish life in Europe.

The project is also rooted in the principle of economic diplomacy. TANNENBLUT believes economic relationships can foster understanding, build meaningful connections, and support positive social development.
