NYNJFFF&BA Announces Jeanette Gioia Recipient of the 2026 Captain of Industry Award

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - June 3, 2026 - PRLog -- The NY/NJ Foreign Freight Forwarders & Brokers Association, Inc. (NYNJFFF&BA) has named Jeanette Gioia, President of Serra International, Inc., as the recipient of its 2026 Captain of Industry Award.

Ms. Gioia will be honored on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, during the Association's annual Dinner Cruise, co-hosted with the Traffic Club of New York.

With over four decades of experience advancing international trade, she has earned a reputation as a respected advocate combining operational expertise with deep policy knowledge. Her dedication is highlighted by her extensive NYNJFFF&BA service, including her tenure as President from 2021 through 2025, where she successfully guided members through unprecedented supply chain disruptions.

Beyond the Association, she represents the NYNJFFF&BA on the Council on Port Performance and actively serves on key NCBFAA committees to shape regional and national transportation policy.

The Captain of Industry Award Dinner Cruise will take place aboard the Cornucopia Destiny, departing from Liberty Harbor Marina in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Boarding begins promptly at 6:00 p.m., and the evening will feature dinner, an open bar, music, and ample networking opportunities. Tickets are $225 per person.
