'Riding the Waves' Builds New Skills for Parenting Two, Three or More

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - May 31, 2026 - PRLog -- Multiples of America's annual convention offers parents of twins, triplets, or more a chance to sharpen parenting skills, collect ideas about chapter leadership, and foster relationships of support.

The annual convention, to be held in Warwick, RI, will be the 65th annual gathering for members of Multiples of America. The theme of "Riding the Waves Together" celebrates not only the ups and downs involved in navigating the joys and challenges of parenting twins, triplets, or more, but also surviving through the ebbs and flows as an organization over the last 65 years.  Attendees from across the nation will converge July 23-25 for learning, networking, and completing the business of the organization.

Keynote Speaker, Kellie Barhight, will focus her remarks on lessons learned in life and parenting. Kellie connects people through her storytelling and as the mother of two sets of twins, she has tales to tell times four!

Kellie is known for her handle, Ms B. Positive, on Tik Tok and Instagram. She is also a lieutenant of Operations for the Stow, MA Police Department where she specializes in Crisis Intervention and Peer Officer Response.

During workshop sessions, attendees will chat with a cyber-safety expert, gather tips on home cooking from a renowned Chef de Cuisine, and learn new crafting skills. Convention attendees will also join in shareshops with parents from across the country to discuss their successes and challenges in building outreach and support programming for local chapters.

Along with learning, several events will focus on fun, including a tour to the famed mansions in Newport, RI, and an evening of music bingo.
