QUDORA's Quantum Computers Now Accessible in Japan via Fixstars Amplify

German quantum startup brings Europe's most advanced ion-trap systems to Japanese market through first-of-its-kind partnership. Advanced emulator available immediately, hardware by 2027

BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany - May 29, 2026 - PRLog -- QUDORA Technologies GmbH, a German full-stack quantum computing company, today announced that its quantum computing environment is now available through Fixstars Amplify, Japan's leading optimization cloud platform — marking the first partnership of its kind between a European quantum hardware company and a Japanese quantum cloud provider.

The integration gives Fixstars Amplify's 1,100+ registered organizations immediate access to QUDORA's Qamelion Emulator, which accurately simulates the physical behavior of QUDORA's upcoming trapped-ion hardware. Access is available today via the Fixstars Amplify SDK. QUDORA's physical 50-qubit quantum computer is scheduled to go live on the platform by 2027, with a roadmap to 200 qubits.

What sets QUDORA apart from competing ion-trap systems is its proprietary NFQC® (Near-Field Quantum Control) technology, which replaces the bulky laser systems traditionally required to control ion-trap qubits with compact microwave-based electronics. The approach is compatible with standard semiconductor manufacturing, enabling a scalable path to thousands of qubits. QUDORA's systems have already demonstrated qubit coherence times exceeding 60 seconds: a critical metric for running deep, complex quantum algorithms like QAOA that break down on shorter-lived qubits.

The partnership arrives as QUDORA accelerates its Japan strategy. The company this week also announced the launch of Qudora Japan K.K., a fully operational Tokyo-based subsidiary, underscoring its commitment to the Asia-Pacific market.

QUOTES:

Yoshiki Matsuda, President and CEO, Fixstars Amplify Inc.:
"We are thrilled to partner with QUDORA and integrate their exceptional ion-trap quantum computing environment into Amplify. QUDORA's proprietary NFQC® technology will dramatically improve the calculation accuracy of hybrid algorithms such as QAOA. In particular, its scalability to thousands or tens of thousands of qubits is expected to be key in realizing practical quantum computing. Under the vision 'Optimal answers through cutting-edge technology. Making society smarter,' Amplify aims to expand its value as a gateway to next-generation quantum computing environments through this collaboration. By actively incorporating innovative technologies alongside QUDORA, we will strongly promote the industrial application and social implementation of quantum technology."
Dr. Amado Bautista, CEO & Co-Founder, QUDORA Technologies GmbH:
"We are highly honored to partner with Fixstars Amplify and expand access to our quantum computing solutions. By combining the exceptional quality and coherence time of QUDORA's ion-trap qubits with Fixstars Amplify's outstanding optimization capabilities and infrastructure, users will be able to develop quantum applications more effectively and transition them into practical operations across all fields, from research to industrial use."
