Krieger joins with 30 years of experience spanning engineering operations, back-office IT, and product development — most recently serving as VP of Engineering Operations and Chief of Staff to the CTO at GitHub, where she translated company strategy into operational execution across a 1,200-strong global engineering organization.

Spec Kitty's platform focuses on structured, spec-driven workflows that address the coordination challenges introduced by AI-assisted coding. With product, engineering, and go-to-market already in place, Krieger's appointment completes the founding leadership team — bringing dedicated development lifecycle and operational leadership to match the company's product and growth ambitions.

Krieger's appointment also brings a practitioner's perspective to the role — someone who has lived the coordination challenges Spec Kitty is built to solve, and will now apply that experience to scaling the company itself.
