JoinRCMP.ca Lifts the Lid on Depot Life and RCMP Training in New In‑Depth Guide

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - May 15, 2026 - PRLog -- JoinRCMP.ca has released a new in-depth guide explaining what life is really like at the RCMP's Depot Division training academy in Regina, Saskatchewan. The guide gives prospective applicants a detailed look at the 26-week Cadet Training Program, including daily schedules, fitness expectations, firearms instruction, police defensive tactics, driving training, inspections, and residential life.

Every RCMP officer in Canada begins training at Depot, where cadets complete approximately 820 hours of instruction while living full-time on campus. Cadets train in troops of up to 32 recruits and spend six months immersed in a structured residential environment.
