Pianist Paul Cardall Enters Full Communion with the Catholic Church

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - May 11, 2026 - PRLog -- NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Pianist and composer Paul Cardall entered into full communion with the Catholic Church on February 8, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Cardall began the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) in 2025 at The Cathedral of the Incarnation, the cathedral parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nashville, located at 2015 West End Avenue. The Cathedral of the Incarnation serves as the cathedral seat of the Diocese of Nashville and is one of the most historically recognized Catholic parishes in Tennessee.

Known internationally for his piano and cinematic instrumental recordings, Cardall has publicly reflected in recent years on themes of faith, suffering, healing, and spiritual transformation following his lifelong experience with congenital heart disease and his 2009 heart transplant.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Cardall has released numerous recordings, performed internationally, and received recognition for his contributions to contemporary instrumental music.
