Nominate a teacher for staycation in paradise at Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples

NAPLES, Fla. - May 8, 2026 - PRLog -- Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week by recognizing and rewarding educators across Collier County with exclusive offers, community engagement and a special social media contest designed to give teachers the getaway they deserve.

The public is invited to nominate a teacher who deserves recognition for their dedication, creativity and compassion by entering a submission on the campaign website, explaining why their favorite teacher deserves to win the grand prize. Then, a voting period will begin where the public can choose a winner.

One grand prize winner will receive a two-night stay at Compass Hotel Naples and a $50 gift certificate to 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Five runner-ups will each receive a $50 gift card to the restaurant. All photo submissions must be received by May 15. Winners will be announced after May 22.

Also part of the initiative, Compass Naples' team visited schools throughout the Naples area to distribute gift bags that included a two-night stay in a Studio Suite, Compass Hotel goodies, a Sippin' Stamps punch card offering "buy nine, get the 10th free" and information about the Teacher Appreciation photo contest.

The Compass Naples team delivered gift bags to Sea Gate Elementary School; Lake Park Elementary School; Pine Ridge Middle School; Aubrey Rogers High School; Barron Collier High School; Naples High School; Poinciana Elementary School; Pelican Marsh Elementary School; Naples Park Elementary School; and Osceola Elementary School.
