World Rights to Map Digital Accessibility for People with Reduced Mobility in Seoul

SEOUL, South Korea - May 8, 2026 - PRLog -- International Human Rights Union World Rights(Korean : 국제인권연대 월드라이츠) announced the launch of its "Barrier-Free Kiosk Public Data Project." This initiative aims to tackle the "digital walls" faced by people with reduced mobility—including the elderly, parents with strollers, and people with disabilities—as automated kiosks become essential in daily life.

To bridge the digital divide, World Rights will conduct a focused survey across Seoul, evaluating kiosk accessibility through three core categories: Physical Accessibility, Sensory Accessibility, and User Convenience.

"Our goal is to ensure that everyone can navigate daily life independently," said Jinyeong Kim, Founder of World Rights. "By releasing our findings as open-source public data, we aim to provide a foundation for better policy-making and create an integrated accessibility map for the community."

World Rights invites citizens and volunteers to join this data-driven advocacy. The project's final data will be shared to encourage more inclusive digital standards in both public and private sectors.
