![]() The Wrong* List: A directory for professionals who were told they were too differentAn invite-only web directory of unconventional professionals launches 21 May 2026. 16 founding members across 9 countries. Free to browse at thewronglist.com.
By: The Wrong* List The directory is not a job board. It is not a network. It is a curated record of people whose careers defied easy categorisation — and who built something worth paying attention to because of it. Each entry is hand-selected by the curator. There is no algorithm. There is no application form. The founding cohort spans South Africa, Germany, Australia, Ireland, the Czech Republic, France, Poland, the Netherlands, and the United States. Members include Vanessa Raath (keynote speaker and AI talent strategist), Zandile Darko (theatre maker, Hamburg), Clark Marchese (founder, France/USA), Patrick Vogel (creative director, Hamburg), Nicci Martin (illustrator, Prague), Shea Karssing (author, South Africa), Sian Ferguson (writer, Cape Town), and Jan Ambroziewicz (product manager, Warsaw), among others. "I built this because I wished it had existed when I was finding my own footing. My network is full of people who were told they were too much, too different, too hard to categorise. This is a place for them." — Jomiro Eming, curator, Hamburg Members control their own availability — open to projects, collaboration, speaking, or none of the above. The list grows through nominations from existing members only. Format: Invite-only web directory. Access: Free to browse. Launch: 21 May 2026. Tagline: Wrong by most standards, right by the ones that matter. Contact: design@jomiro.de — thewronglist.com End
