Gnosis Chocolate Presents a Reimagining of Afternoon Tea for Mother's Day

Conceived by founder Vanessa Barg and her mother Aida (affectionately known by their customers of nearly two decades as Chocolate Girl and Mamma Wonka), the collection draws inspiration from a visit to King's Carriage House, where the choreography of tea service unfolds with deliberate grace.

In this collection, tea is no longer confined to the cup. It is steeped, folded, and composed into chocolate form - each truffle a small architecture of leaf, blossom, and time. Kenyan purple tea, Earl Grey, Moroccan mint, ceremonial grade Kanematsu matcha and rooibos move through the collection not as flavors alone, but as cultural artifacts, carrying with them histories of trade, ceremony, and daily ritual.

The offering includes an Afternoon Tea Service for Two, as well as a selection of Afternoon Tea Truffles.

Each piece is crafted by hand in micro-batches using raw, organic ingredients. In keeping with the company's long-standing ethos, all offerings remain free from refined sugar, dairy, gluten, soy, peanuts, GMOs, and artificial additives. Sweetness is achieved through low-glycemic botanicals, allowing the integrity of the cacao and its companions to remain intact.
