Management Know-how, Skillsets and Frame of Mind was instilled right from Graduation Days

VADODARA, India - April 26, 2026 - PRLog -- My engineering was not a home-ground for just learning technical skillsets; however, the required exposure gave me right management skillsets even before pursuing MBA.

What is Management? Management is frame of mind to small or big organizations, people and lead them towards right path, to ensure required tasks are achieved with sound protocols.

Management Frame of Mind is crucial and I consider every big entrepreneur has management frame of Mind. Elon Musk, Ford, Wright Brothers, Peter Thiel, Bill Gates have showcased exceptional management skillsets even without formal education of management.

The best way to have management frame of mind is to handle support function of any organization. You get queries, complaints, feedback, improvement notices. Second way is to organize an event in a team and having responsibility of one domain. Third way is to lead a group of people for some common task.

You learn coordination, communication, coherence and ability to synthesize everyone for a common task. In addition, there would be agents of chaos who try to attack composure of group or individuals, who try to hamper calmness by inciting fear or panic, who divert attention of the entire group towards non-business functions. All these aspects are handled by Management frame of mind.

A formal degree is crucial; however, management frame of mind is authorized, systematic, protocol-based approach which takes you out of theory and keeps you in practical arena. You learn judgement about people, timing about different aspects and you learn prioritization, organization, building and shipping, taking core decisions, ability to differentiate.

To handle various functions in authorized way, management frame of mind is crucial. You can turn chaos into creation, obstacle into opportunity, pain into progress with management frame of mind. It is continuous process to improve management frame of mind and one keeps on getting better with continuous implementation of the same.

You learn more about management by handling a fleet of 50 people on ship for 5 days than 10 days of coursework. It removes agents of chaos, panic and directs everyone towards tasks in organized way.

During my engineering, I had exposure of Global CEO Conclave, handling various induction conferences and seminars, handling small teams for a particular task and keeping up with high voltage-high intensity assignments. Even the courses of engineering have managerial subjects and coursework by atleast 20%. Each and every coursework of engineering now holds atleast 20% pedagogy on management. It must increase to 30% since engineers with good management frame of mind shift the entire organization.

There would be no shortage of individuals with management frame of mind. The demand for such individuals would keep on increasing.
