The Hutchinson Fund Launches the Althea Brown Legacy GiftBy: The Hutchinson Fund The gift is unique in two regards. The recipients are both family members and community individual achievers. The initial legacy gift will be given to seven grandchildren of The Hutchinson Fund founder and two community uplift organizations. One of which is the Institute of the Black World. They fit the mold of responsible achievers. Althea Brown Legacy Gift is named in honor of Earl Ofari Hutchinson's maternal grandmother.
