Nexus Community Church Unites Faith, Compassion, and Healthcare Innovation

EAST POINT, Ga. - April 16, 2026 - PRLog -- Nexus Community Church, under the leadership of Dr. Horatious Harris, Pastor and Bishop-Designate, announces two landmark community initiatives unfolding in tandem during the spring of 2026: The Kindness Closet Outreach — a tangible expression of compassion through the distribution of clothing and household goods to Atlanta-area residents in need.

The Kindness Closet Outreach: Compassion Made Tangible

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Nexus Community Church will host The Kindness Closet Outreach at 2822 Randall St., East Point, GA. The event will provide new and gently used clothing and household items free of charge to community members throughout the greater Atlanta metropolitan area.

"We believe the Gospel compels us to act," said Dr. Harris. "The Kindness Closet is not a program — it is a posture. It is the church extending its hands into the community with no strings attached, sharing Hope, Love, and Encouragement through practical service."
