An Evening Rooted in Culture & Legacy The Rooted Reception is more than an event — It's a celebration to preserve African American history while raising funds for the FREE annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival, a cultural tradition that honors the legacy of Kunta Kinte and the resilience of African ancestry in its 36th year.
