Joe Earley Background As a Son of West Virginia, Joe Earley is a proven patriot who cares deeply about West Virginia. Coming from a lineage of tradesmen, railway workers, coal miners, and military servicemen, Joe developed a strong work ethic at an early age. He entered the workforce as a tradesman of surveying at the early age of 17 years. In 1982, he joined the United States Army as an Armor Crewman. His overseas assignments include service with the 3rd Squadron 11th Armored Cavalry (Blackhorse) After proudly serving our nation in the military for 20 years, Earley returned home to West Virginia and served as Training Director of the Department of Defense Weapons of Mass Destruction Training and Exercise Program for Military and Civilian First Responders. In 2009, Earley relocated to North Central West Virginia to serve as a liaison for DOD Biometric Experimentation and Cybersecurity programs, and as a cybersecurity program team member with NASA Independent Verification and Validation Facility. Continuing his service to our nation, Joe served as a Cybersecurity Engineering Professional in support of the federal workforce. Today, he operates his own consulting cybersecurity business. Earley earned a Master of Science degree from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville.
