![]() Probiotec Unveils Australia's Largest Pharmaceutical & FMCG Co-Packing Hub at Kemps CreekSpanning 36,000 sqm, the purpose-built Kemps Creek facility consolidates three former sites and sets a national sustainability milestone with Australia's first NABERS Embodied Carbon rating.
By: Pyridam Farma The site marks a national sustainability milestone as the first Australian building to achieve an official NABERS Embodied Carbon rating, alongside a 6-Star Green Star Design rating. These credentials position the facility as a sustainable and scalable backbone for Australia's pharmaceutical supply chain. Fully operational since November following the acquisition of its TGA license in August 2025, the facility successfully transitioned all legacy packing lines within three months without disrupting client supply chains. Consolidating these operations enhances quality oversight, streamlines workflows, and increases capacity to support both high-volume and short-run production, ultimately strengthening national supply resilience. Jessica Walters, Chief Executive Officer of Probiotec, said the facility represents a strategic gateway for international partners entering the Australian market: "This facility fundamentally reshapes what pharmaceutical contract packing looks like in Australia. For international partners, regulatory complexity is often the greatest barrier to entry. We have deliberately built Kemps Creek to remove that friction — combining deep TGA expertise with infrastructure capable of operating at global scale. It is not simply a facility; it is a gateway into the Australian market, designed to deliver certainty, speed and uncompromising quality across a broad spectrum of packing and packaging services." Additionally, the facility introduces Probiotec's expansion into e-commerce fulfillment and pick-and-pack services. Through digitalized workflows, it seamlessly connects packing operations with warehousing and logistics, offering brand owners an end-to-end solution that reduces freight movements and shortens lead times. About Probiotec Probiotec Group is a leading Australian contract manufacturer and packer of pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products. Offering end-to-end capabilities across manufacturing, primary packing and secondary packing, Probiotec partners with brand owners seeking regulatory expertise, operational scale, and supply chain reliability.
