Thousands Gather at Coachman Park for 29th Annual Ginormous Easter Egg HuntThe Clearwater Community Volunteers, armed with 20,000 Easter eggs and a lot of heart, help families from throughout the Tampa Bay area make new memories.
Sponsored by the Church of Scientology, the festivities began at 11 a.m., with anticipation building until 12:30 p.m., when children raced across the park's Green to gather their share of 20,000 colorful Easter eggs filled with more than 45,000 pieces of candy. Among them, lucky participants who discovered special golden eggs earned a trip to "Bunny Central," where they selected plush prizes to take home.
