Renowned scholar, activist, and global civil rights icon Angela Y. Davis, has endorsed civil rights attorney Pamela Price in the June 2026 primary election for Alameda County District Attorney, as a powerful affirmation of Price's principled leadership and unwavering commitment to justice.

The endorsement came during Women's History Month as communities across Alameda County and the nation reflected on the enduring significance of women who have demonstrated moral courage and a steadfast willingness to speak truth to power—values deeply embodied by both Davis and Price.

I've also attempted to stand up for the rights of many others who have suffered similar injustices.

I mention my own experiences because I know that Pamela Price has also dedicated her life to justice. A civil rights attorney for 30 years with a winning record of fighting for justice, defending everyday people, successfully arguing against racial and sexual harassment, she has handled important cases to advance and protect civil rights.

Pamela has devoted her life to standing up to injustice and protecting the powerless who don't have a voice or a seat at the table.
