PRLog -- On May 8th, 2026 Bob will release his single, Pink Fur on MVD Audio. "Pink Fur is a fun, funk tune that has a great beat to it. I wanted it to be something that people can dance to. "says Holz. Pink Fur highlights Bob's slick drumming style, a visionary approach to fusion drumming that he's famous for. Holz has played and recorded with the likes of jazz stars like John McLaughlin, Jean Luc Ponty, Randy Brecker, Stanley Clarke, Mike Stern, Elliot Yamin, Larry Coryell, Darryl Jones, Ralphe Armstrong and Chet Catallo. Bob has released eight albums and toured with his various musical configurations. A veteran in the music industry, Bob started his solo career playing with Larry Coryell and bassist Ralphe Armstrong. When Coryell passed away in 2017, Chet Catallo former guitarist with Spyro Gyra teamed up with Bob's live band and kicked off a slew of dates at Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood CA. Since then Bob has played The Syracuse Jazz Festival, The Bob Stop in Cleveland and countless others.
Holz is represented by SoVibe Entertainment, a jazz booking agency out of Miami, Florida. Bob is a long standing endorser of Paiste cymbals, Canopus drums and Ahead drumsticks.
