As Women's History Month concludes, Wright Enterprises Community Spotlight San Francisco–Dallas (WECS TV) is highlighting one of its inaugural episodes featuring Meg Robinson, a writer, journalist, editor, and theater creator whose work centers on uplifting and sharing community stories. Robinson, a graduate of the University of San Francisco's Performing Arts and Social Justice program, brings a unique blend of storytelling and advocacy to her work. Her focus on elevating underrepresented voices reflects the very mission WECS TV was built upon. Hosted and produced by veteran journalist and publicist Jackie Wright, WECS TV launched as a platform connecting San Francisco and Dallas while amplifying voices often overlooked in mainstream media. This early episode featuring Robinson captures the show's foundational spirit—authentic conversations rooted in culture, creativity, and community. Filmed at San Francisco's historic African American Art & Culture Complex (AAACC), the episode reflects the intimate and culturally rich setting that helped define the program's early identity. Robinson's appearance highlights the role of artists and journalists in advancing social awareness and preserving community narratives. "As we close out Women's History Month, we celebrate voices like Meg Robinson's—women who are shaping how our stories are told," said Jackie Wright, Host and Executive Producer of WECS TV. "From the beginning, this show has been about creating space for those voices." The episode also reflects the collaborative foundation of WECS TV, with production support from Will Hammon and Ken Johnson, whose contributions were instrumental during the show's inaugural stage. Since its launch, WECS TV has grown into a consistent media platform airing in San Francisco and expanding its digital presence, while maintaining its grassroots commitment to community-centered storytelling. Studio Audience Invitation Community members are invited to be part of the live studio audience for upcoming WECS TV tapings. While earlier episodes were recorded when Tallio's Coffee & Tea operated inside the AAACC—now no longer located within the complex—WECS TV continues production at the AAACC and welcomes public participation.
