PRLog -- Custom Blinds Shutters & Awnings, the Garden Route's independent window covering specialist and national online blind retailer, has launched a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server on its online shop making it the first window covering company in South Africa to enable fully AI-assisted shopping and ordering.
The MCP server allows AI assistants including Claude (Anthropic) Gemini and ChatGPT to call live tools on the Custom Blinds® shop directly using the JSON-RPC 2.0 protocol. A customer can ask an AI assistant to find a roller blind in a specific colour, get an instant price for their exact window dimensions, configure the product to their specifications and place an order without visiting a website or filling in a form.
