BERLIN - March 27, 2026 - PRLog -- École Polytechnique continues to actively pursue its internationalization policy and announces the signing of a new partnership aimed at enhancing its academic and scientific cooperation abroad; a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cluster of Excellence MATH+ in Berlin.

A partnership of excellence with MATH+ in Berlin

Through this new partnership with the Cluster of Excellence MATH+, a hub for research and doctoral training in mathematics supported by Berlin's three major universities (Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin), École Polytechnique reaffirms its commitment to strengthening ties with Europe, particularly Germany, a key partner in research and innovation.

This agreement, signed as the Saclay region and Berlin have recently enhanced their collaboration through an agreement promoting academic, scientific, and technological exchanges, fully aligns with the dynamic of bringing these two agglomerations closer together, offering new opportunities between two ecosystems of excellence.

This MoU will facilitate exchanges of students, researchers, and faculty, as well as joint research programs. Recognized for its interdisciplinary approach and excellence in both applied and fundamental mathematics, MATH+ provides l'X with privileged access to a dynamic and innovative academic ecosystem.

"This partnership with MATH+ illustrates our commitment to placing our students and researchers at the heart of the most innovative academic networks. It opens up exceptional opportunities for our communities, both scientifically and culturally. The agreement with MATH+ also strengthens our European presence and aligns with the cooperative dynamic between Saclay and Berlin, two centers of excellence," states Gaëlle Le Goff, Director for International Affairs at École Polytechnique.
