FROM ESIM TO ARRIVAL COMPANION The expansion responds to a consistent pattern observed among customers. Upon arriving abroad, travelers first need internet, then worry about security on public networks, then need to figure out local transportation. "Every customer conversation followed the same arc," said founder Serhii Pustovit. "They came for the eSIM but immediately asked about WiFi security and transport. We were solving only the first chapter of a three-chapter problem." VPN AT CHECKOUT ViaConecta now offers VPN protection plans from established cybersecurity providers directly alongside eSIM purchases. Travelers can add a VPN subscription in a single checkout flow, addressing the significant risk posed by public WiFi networks in airports, hotels, and cafes. "Most travelers know public WiFi is risky but do nothing about it because setting up a VPN feels like another task," Pustovit noted. "We put it right next to the eSIM purchase so the decision takes five seconds." FLIGHT TOOLS IN TESTING The company is also testing flight search and transport integrations with industry API providers. The goal is not to compete with online travel agencies, but to offer contextual tools that complement the connectivity experience.
