PRLog -- Catchproof today announced the launch of
Catchproof Academy, a new educational institution offering structured, accessible literacies that help learners understand and navigate opaque systems. The Academy launches with its first discipline,
Language‑Based Systemic Harm Literacy, the academic companion to Catchproof's foundational model, the
Cycle of Harm Framework. Additional disciplines, including
AI Systems Literacy, are currently in development.
Catchproof Academy fills a critical gap: most people experience systemic harm long before they have the language or interpretive tools to recognize it. The Academy's first discipline translates Catchproof's diagnostic framework into applied literacy, teaching learners how to identify, interpret, and navigate harm cycles across institutional, interpersonal, and digital environments.
The Academy launches with a free mini‑course,
"How Minimization Harms and How to Circumvent It," which introduces learners to one of the most common and misunderstood harm mechanisms. Additional courses in the Language‑Based Systemic Harm Literacy discipline are in development, including:
- Changing the Language: Words as Harm Mechanisms, a certification now accepting waitlist sign ups
- Recognizing Systemic Harm Through Language Shifts
- Navigating Institutional Opacity
In parallel, Catchproof is developing
AI Systems Literacy, a separate discipline focused on understanding how AI systems behave, fail, and mislead. This certification track is model‑agnostic, teaching learners how to interpret system behavior rather than how to operate specific tools. The flagship course,
When Systems Act Up: A Field Guide to AI Behavior, provides a structured approach to identifying illusions, comparing outputs across models, and diagnosing misalignment—
a literacy not currently offered by traditional AI training programs. Waitlist members will be notified about early‑bird pricing and priority enrollment as each course opens.
Catchproof Academy (

"Can We Build the Future Without Multiplying Everyday Failures? (

". The Academy extends this work into structured education, offering literacies designed for consumers, professionals, educators, social workers, practitioners, trainers, and anyone navigating complex systems.
