Current and aspiring patient advocates will also receive Pulse's signature Family-Centered Patient Advocacy Training (FCPA), a kind of boot camp imparting the basic skills and knowledge needed to be a successful patient safety advocate. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion and can be included as accredited advocates in Pulse's website directory. Additionally, all FCPA graduates become part of Pulse's "FCPA Alumni" program, which provides ongoing connection, networking and support. For Board-Certified Patient Advocates, the conference is approved for 13 Regular and three J.E.D.I. BCPA Continuing Education credits.
