Manifestly now lets teams add ad hoc steps directly to workflow runs

Yes, users can now add steps to a run in Manifestly without editing the original workflow template. This makes it easier to handle unexpected tasks, one off requests, and real world exceptions while keeping the workflow itself as the source of truth.

With this update, teams can add one off steps to an active run when the template does not fully match what is happening in the moment. Those ad hoc steps remain part of the run even if the workflow is updated later.

The feature also supports safer workflow maintenance. Since ad hoc steps are not tied to the original workflow, updates to the workflow do not overwrite or remove them from the run.

This gives operations teams more flexibility without forcing them to choose between structure and practicality.
