Gulf Infrastructure Fund said it will continue investing in major infrastructure projects across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), underscoring confidence in the region's long-term economic outlook despite geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

The Fund confirmed it is actively supporting and evaluating large-scale infrastructure initiatives across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman, focusing on transport networks, logistics corridors, energy systems, and digital infrastructure.

"Infrastructure investment reflects long-term economic confidence," a spokesperson for Gulf Infrastructure Fund said. "The Gulf region continues to demonstrate resilience and a sustained commitment to strategic development."

The GCC remains one of the most active infrastructure markets globally, driven by national economic transformation programs including Saudi Vision 2030, UAE economic diversification initiatives, Qatar National Vision 2030, and Oman Vision 2040.

Across the region, governments are advancing large-scale projects aimed at strengthening logistics connectivity, expanding energy capacity, and accelerating digital infrastructure development.

Gulf Infrastructure Fund said its investment focus includes:
  • transport infrastructure including ports and logistics hubs
  • power and energy systems
  • renewable energy infrastructure
  • telecommunications and digital networks
  • water desalination and water security systems
  • smart cities and urban development

The Fund added it is exploring additional partnerships with governments, infrastructure developers, and strategic institutions to support the next phase of regional infrastructure expansion.

Large-scale infrastructure investment has become a central pillar of economic strategy across the Gulf, supporting trade connectivity between Asia, Europe, and Africa while strengthening supply chains and economic diversification.
