The virtual conference, themed "Beyond Me: Living for More!", will convene women, youth leaders, and professionals from North York, across the Greater Toronto Area, and internationally for a powerful afternoon of leadership development, mentorship, and purpose-driven conversations. In recognition of the initiative's work within the community, City of Toronto Councillor and Council Speaker Frances Nunziata has extended an official message of support to participants and organizers of the conference. Her message commends The Impact Ambassadors for their commitment to empowering women and youth and for creating platforms that strengthen leadership development, identity building, and community resilience. The conference highlights the critical role women play in shaping families, communities, and civic engagement, while equipping participants with practical tools to navigate leadership challenges and expand their influence beyond personal ambition. Participants will also gain insight into TIA's ROOTED Program, a mentorship and leadership development initiative designed to support new immigrants navigating identity challenges and transitions while cultivating generational leadership among women and youth. With speakers joining from three countries, thought-provoking conversations, and an engaging program agenda, the event promises to deliver a transformative virtual experience for attendees. "Beyond Me is about moving women and young leaders from personal ambition to sustainable community influence," said Omolara Lawrence, Co-founder of The Impact Ambassadors Initiative. "We are committed to building leadership that strengthens families, identity, and civic engagement. This conference equips participants with the skills, confidence, and vision to create lasting impact." Media professionals, community leaders, and members of the public interested in observing conversations around leadership, identity, and community development are also welcome to attend the virtual conference. Through initiatives such as the Beyond Me Conference, the ROOTED Program, and other leadership and community development programs, The Impact Ambassadors continues to build a growing network of purpose-driven individuals committed to strengthening communities and shaping the next generation of leadership. The Beyond Me Conference is open to women, youth leaders, professionals, and community members interested in growing in leadership, purpose, and community impact.
