In light of increasing instances of digital impersonation and unauthorised use of financial institution identities across global markets, BCIB reiterates that all official banking correspondence and institutional representations must originate exclusively from its authorised domains:

Valid communications, including but not limited to:
- Interbank correspondence
- Trade finance documentation
- SWIFT-related messaging
- Funding commitments and mandates
- Financial instruments
- Digital asset issuances
- Contractual agreements
- Institutional representations of any nature
must be issued strictly through authorised

@bcinvestmentbank.uk domain addresses, or through formally authenticated interbank communication channels.
Any communication, proposal, instrument, instruction, commitment, or representation not originating from these authorised domains or recognised banking networks shall be deemed unauthorised.
Official Communication StandardsBCIB does not conduct banking business through:
- Personal email accounts
- Free or public email providers
- Unverified third-party domains
- Messaging applications (including WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, or similar platforms) as primary execution channels
- Mirror or unauthorised websites
Any individual, intermediary, broker, introducer, consultant, or third party claiming to represent BCIB outside officially sanctioned communication channels does so without authority.
Verification GuidanceBCIB advises all counterparties and institutional participants to:
- Independently verify communications via the official websites listed above
- Confirm authorised signatories prior to transaction execution
- Conduct appropriate institutional due diligence
- Report suspected impersonation or fraudulent activity immediately
All transactions remain subject to BCIB's internal compliance framework, including AML, CFT, sanctions screening, and applicable international standards.
