Songwriter David Hays Announces New EP  American Dream Following Nationwide Radio Momentum

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Feb. 27, 2026 - PRLog -- Singer-songwriter David Hays has just announced the release of his new five-song EP American Dream on all major streaming platforms on February 28, 2026, following growing national attention from Americana and Folk radio.

Early singles "American Dream" and "Citizen" have been added by stations across the country and tracked on multiple industry charts, signaling strong early reception for the project. The EP has already been recognized by major industry charts, including Triple-A/Alternative (JBE/Mediabase), Americana (CDX/AMA/RMR), and the NACC Folk/Top 200.

Blending finger-style guitar with story-driven songwriting, American Dream features notable collaborations, including accompaniment from Nashville bluegrass trio Thunder & Rain on "American Dream" and "Fork in the Road," as well as a fun and exciting duet with Nashville recording artist Vickie Vaughn on the song "Home." The project reflects Hays's journey from Signal Mountain, Tennessee to Nashville and now the Carolina coast, exploring themes of identity, redemption, and belonging.
