We've recently completed another professional sound system installation in Leeds, this time at Toast Bar in the heart of Leeds.

The venue required a powerful yet flexible audio system capable of handling background music, live acts, DJs, and televised sports — all with simple source control for staff.

🔊 Speaker System Installation

For clear, high-quality sound coverage throughout the venue, we installed:

• Six Martin Audio X10 Mid/Top speakers mounted on Powerdrive wall brackets
• Two Martin Audio X115 bass speakers for deep, controlled low-end reinforcement

This combination delivers crisp vocal clarity and strong bass response, ideal for both live music and DJ performances.

🎛 Amplification & Processing

To power and control the system, we installed:

• Four Crown Audio amplifiers
• A dbx 2-way stereo crossover for precise frequency management

This setup ensures optimal performance, speaker protection, and consistent sound quality across all audio sources.

🎚 Mixer Integration & Live Performance Setup

We re-used the client's existing Cloud Electronics mixer to maintain familiarity for staff.

To increase flexibility for live performances, we:

• Installed two additional input plates
• Integrated a new Yamaha Corporation mixer for bands and DJs
• Supplied three Shure SM58S microphones for reliable live vocals

This allows seamless switching between background music and live events.

📺 Multi-Source Audio Integration

To give the venue full control over entertainment audio, we connected:

• Two Sky TV boxes
• Spotify streaming

Staff can now quickly switch between live sports, playlists, or live performances — all through a centralised system.
