Kleo Launches on iOS and Android to Help Clients Find and Hire Independent Local Pros

The platform is designed to make it easier for clients to compare local service providers and book one for whatever job or task they have, while giving small businesses and independent providers a streamlined platform to promote their services to clients in their area.

Kleo enables clients to search by service type and location, service details, travel options (mobile versus studio), and service pricing information. Once a client chooses a provider, they can initiate contact through the app free end to end only paying the service provider directly.

For providers, Kleo focuses on lead generation without requiring a mandatory monthly subscription, large service cuts or controlling the providers service cost, just a baseline fee per new client connection. Providers create and publish a profile, select their main services, showcases photos of their work, boast past client reviews, and set a weekly connection limit to control how many new leads they receive. Charges are initiated only when a new connection is made through the platform, such as when a client contacts a provider from a profile or when a provider contacts a client through a posted request on the Job Board.

Kleo also includes performance tools intended to help providers understand what is working over time, including visibility signals and insights tied to connections and profile activity. The company recommends providers keep profiles up to date with accurate service descriptions, clear pricing, and recent portfolio photos.
