By: SGS EN 71-8:2026, which sets requirements for activity toys, was published in January 2026. It now covers inflatable activity toys, and certain sections have been revised to clarify interpretation and testing issues. Following harmonization and publication in the Official Journal of the EU, the standard can be used to demonstrate compliance with the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC.
