American & Import Auto Repair Hopper Road Empowers Women Behind the Wheel with Free Car Care Clinic

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Feb. 19, 2026 - PRLog -- American & Import Auto Repair Hopper Road is proud to announce a free Ladies Car Care Clinic on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at their brand new second location at 216 Hopper Road, Johnson City, Tennessee.

The event, hosted by ASE Certified Master Mechanic Tim Smith, with over 30 years of hands-on automotive experience, is designed to give women practical, real-world knowledge about their vehicles in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. Space is strictly limited to 25 attendees, and spots are already filling fast.

"We want every woman who drives to feel confident and informed behind the wheel," said Cynthia, Manager at American & Import Auto Repair Hopper Road. "This clinic is about real knowledge, taught by a real expert, in a real shop. There's no better way to learn."

Attendees will walk away knowing how to change a flat tire and how to avoid one in the first place, what to look for under the hood, the safe way to jump-start a vehicle, and how to prevent the five most common and costly car care mistakes drivers make. The session will also include a live Q&A, giving every attendee the chance to get personalized answers to their most pressing car questions.

The clinic is open to ladies of all experience levels, and young women just learning to drive are especially encouraged to attend. It's a perfect opportunity for mothers to bring their daughters and set them up with knowledge that will serve them for a lifetime of safe driving.

Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the event.

With room for only 25 participants, interested ladies are urged not to wait. Reservations can be made by calling our Hopper Road location. The team encourages callers to share any specific topics or questions they'd like covered so the clinic can be tailored to attendees' needs.

American & Import Auto Repair has served the Johnson City community with honest, expert automotive care for decades. The Hopper Road location marks an exciting new chapter for the business and this clinic is their way of celebrating that milestone by giving back to the community they love.
