MWA Prince George's County Hosts Insightful Workshop with Author and Educator Jean Burgess

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - Feb. 10, 2026 - PRLog -- The Prince George's County Chapter of the Maryland Writers' Association (MWA) hosted an enriching virtual workshop on February 10, 2026, featuring acclaimed playwright, editor, educator, and retro‑era fiction author Jean Burgess. Her presentation, "Creative Marketing Strategies for Your Book," offered writers a research‑informed, practical exploration of direct book marketing in today's evolving literary landscape.

The session also included a structured activity to help writers develop personalized marketing frameworks aligned with their publishing goals.

Jean's multifaceted background spans decades of performance, directing, teaching, manuscript evaluation, and creative mentorship.
