Kettera Expands Hydra Platform with Two New Specialist Commodity Managers

CHICAGO - Feb. 10, 2026 - PRLog -- Chicago-based Kettera Strategies has expanded
its specialist commodities offerings on its Hydra™ marketplace. Kettera is pleased to
announce the on-boarding of Blue Creek Capital Management LLC (based in Chicago)
and Bowen Energy Limited (based in the UK).
These deals continue Kettera's tradition of access to differentiated, institutional-grade
alternative Investment programs across global markets, employing it's acclaimed "Hydra
Cell" structure – a unique form of fund structure incorporating many of the features of a
direct managed account (e.g. partial funding, additional liquidity and transparency, etc.)
Kettera has formed a U.S.-based Hydra Cell for Blue Creek's "Metals Alpha" program, a
discretionary trading program specializing in precious and industrial metals—including
gold, silver, copper, platinum, and palladium. Metals Alpha combines fundamental,
quantitative, and technical inputs using a "quantamental" trend and sentiment
framework, augmented by disciplined discretionary decision-making on market
selection, sizing, and execution.
Kettera has also approved and onboarded Bowen's London-based Energy Program,
which is focused on capturing alpha across global energy and freight markets. The
program will be offered in a Cayman-based Hydra Cell, trading futures and options
across EU/UK/US natural gas (including LNG), oil, coal, electricity, carbon, and freight.
The strategy is discretionary and fundamentally driven, leveraging proprietary primary
data, sentiment tracking, and internally developed technology—including satellite data
and machine-learning techniques—to assess real-time demand in data-scarce regions.
Both new Hydra Cells have been accumulating funding, and are expected launch as
dedicated Cells in March. Each of the programs offer partial funding of 50% (2.0x
leverage), along with reduced founders-class fees available for a very limited period
following launch.
