![]() Raising a Glass for Good: Salida Wine Festival 2026 Teams Up with The Alliance in Chaffee CountyRebooted after a seven-year hiatus, the Salida Wine Festival returns June 27, 2026, to Riverside Park—featuring 20+ Colorado wineries and benefiting The Alliance, a nonprofit empowering survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
A nonprofit organization serving Chaffee, northern Saguache, and western Fremont counties since 1982, The Alliance empowers individuals beyond domestic and sexual abuse through services, education and social change. They work to create a safe place for people affected by violence. According to Ursula Jones, Executive Director for The Alliance, "The funds raised from the Salida Wine Festival will support The Alliance's programs empowering survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and helping them to chart their own violence-free path forward. The Alliance provides a variety of services in Chaffee County and surrounding areas, including 24/7 help line, emergency safe housing, support groups and individual counseling, youth prevention education, forensic nursing, and more." The Salida Wine Festival will offer generous wine tastings from 20+ Colorado wineries. Guests will enjoy live music, food and gift vendors and sample delicious Colorado wines in "the heart of Colorado's" beautiful setting. The first 800 attendees will receive a free Salida Wine Festival souvenir tasting glass and wine tote. General admission, group discounts, designated driver, and VIP tickets are available now. Matthew Hexter, the Salida Wine Festival organizer, vintner and founder of Evergood Wines, explains, "To reboot the Salida Wine Festival, I first partnered with Salida's own Mountain Spirit Winery. Next, we reached out to The Alliance, asking if they'd be our nonprofit partner because of the good work they have been doing in Chaffee County for decades."
